《Shrutika Pov》

" You should be careful. You can't trust the person you met yesterday." My brother explained, like I will run away from house, with Aarav.

"I don't even trust you then how can I trust the person whom I met yesterday." I taunted, though, he deserves it.

He holds me by my wrist and took me to the side. I flinched as his sudden actions were too anonymous to me.

It was very first time he was behaving like this.

He pushed me towards the wall and said "All I want is you to be safe, I know I have messed up and I am sorry for that."

"Ya-Ya!" I said sarcastically while massaging my wrist. I know how much sorry he is.

"Shruu— Aaa!" Out of nowhere he shouted and fall in front, on his face, I saw someone kicked him from back

That person took my wrist and start running.

I too, like a stupid person, ran along her. She kicked my brother and I was running with her.

Weird, isn't it?

But I love it, yup!

We both stopped when we saw Aarav and his friends.

Three of them were looking at us weirdly.

"What happen?" Aarav girl-friend asked.

Not girlfriend, just friend that is a girl.

"So-hah-someone" she took a deep breath "Someone was bullying her and I saved he-" she was about to complete her sentence then only Aarav and his friends came in between.

"Bully" a boy said

"Who?" Aarav asked

"Kiski shamat aai?" that girl said while folding her sleeves.

I was looking towards them dumbfoundedly.

What is going on here?

Four of them surrounded me and were asking a lot of question.

It was suffocating!

Suddenly air surrounds me tighten Everything starts becoming blur.

I was waiting, floor to tightly slap me with its harshness, but it never happens rather someone hold me in his soft comforting arms.

When I slowly open my eyes, I saw 4 pair of eyes were looking at me curiously.

I look around and notice that I was on the bed, precisely on a hospital bed. I sat on it.

"No, this is not a hospital bed its bed of medical room." The girl who kicked my brother corrected my thought.

Room looks similar to hospital one.

"Money!!" She spoke.

Ya! Money, how can I even forget that rich people study in here.

I open my mouth to say something she again cut in "BTW, my name is Vanshika and no need to thank me. We are class mate, if he bullies you again then just call me, I will break his bones." She said while snapping her fingers.

"You can call me too! And I am Anshika, Aarav's friend" Aarav's friend- girl one, said.

Every girl of this school is obstreperous.

Ready to break someone's bone.

"That boy was my brother!" I said as I got chance.

Both Anshika and Vanshika was shocked as hell.

Three of them said together, "Brother!"

Yes, three- Anshika, Vanshika and Aarav.

A sweet smile spread on his face from ear to ear, when I said brother, weird!

There was a boy standing at back, unnoticed.

I won't lie, every boy in this Elite school is handsome.

Dusky skin, with sharp jawline and symmetrical face structure, God really have used geometry box while making his face.

I might know his name.

Umm, what it was?

Nishkarsh! His name is Nishkarsh. I took his seat and he went in front because of his bad eyesight.

Poor handsome boy!

"Your brother bullies you?" he said out of sudden, breaking silence.

I'll take my words back.

"No!" I scowled, it's not like he was bullying, though he was, but never mind.

"She just mistook the situation." I said, everyone was looking toward Vanshika. She laughed awkwardly while playing with her fingers.

"Sorry" she pauses "And I'll apologize to your brother too." Her proudly glowing face had now become dull. She was swimming in the ocean of guilty.

"It is natural for humans to make mistakes. So, nothing to worry about." I tried to lift her guilt from her head; she gave me a small smile.

"BTW guys, we should head to class and I think you all forgot one thing" Nishkarsh said while creating suspense.

I don't wanna be rude but he should speak less because whenever he speak, its dreadful.

"What?" We all asked together

"Today is Economics test." He blurted.

Economics test, oh shit!

I forget to learn it. I will definitely fail.

I laid back on the bed put blanked on my face and said "Guys, you all go I am not feeling well."

Out of nowhere Vanshika too jumped on the bed beside me and came inside my blanket, said "I am too feeling dizzy, I too need some rest."

But our bad, Aarav, Anshika and Nishkarsh pulled out us from bed and dragged toward classroom.

"Noo, leave us alone" Vanshika shouted

"Yes, please have mercy and leave us." We both were pleading, but it was no use.

I hate them!!
"You can copy from me." Aarav said while looking directly in my eyes.

Actually, it was not a bad idea. I can copy from him.

Yuppie!

I was too happy that my body automatically reacted and I jumped, hugged him.

The fainted fragrance hit my nostrils which reminds me the scent of soil after rain. It was relaxing.

I think he loves to lay on the grass while watching sky, I don't even notice that I was too close to him.

When we both realised what we were doing, we separated from each other.

Hugging him wasn't right but my heart was saying that it was all right.

Meanwhile our friends;

Nishkarsh's one hand on Vanshika's eyes and another on his eyes, where Vanshika was trying to peep from the gap of his fingers.

Anshika was looking here and there while blabbering "See there is a pigeon"

Crimson wave flushed on my cheeks. I want the earth to swallow me.

Aarav cleared her throat, "Ahm, ahm, guys, let's go "and went inside class

Was he angry that I hugged him. I wasn't able to see his expression.

I shouldn't have done this.

You are stupid Shrutika. How can you hug anyone without permission?

I shouldn't have done this. I made him angry.

What will happen now?

Will he break friendship?

Don't be ridiculous, why anyone will break friendship, but she did. She said I behave like a Stupid sticky girl with no talent.

No! I shook my head to throw my overthinking out of it.

Neither he is her nor he is like her.

Anshika patted on my shoulder and said "He is just shocked" And went inside with a mysterious smile plastered on her face. Nishkarsh too followed her.

Vanshika hugged me from side, "Relax dude!" she said like she understood what was in my mind.

We both entered inside classroom.

Everyone was staring at us like we had grown horns on our head, but there was something else in girls' eyes-hate, envy, revulsion.

They were looking at me like they'll bury me under the heat of their envious look.

I sat next to Vanshika; I was not ready to face Aarav right now.

I don't want my overthinking to be right

I can't bear it.
